~REWIND IN TIME~

Here is where our Journey began~ this is only for those of you who were wanting me to post more about Addisyn's beginning! I thought I would show and share with you little bits and pieces of what has happened so far. Addisyn's room~ it is pink, pink and more pink! And some yellow!

Here is our first time meeting each other~ I was in love with her so much before, and now even more!! I never knew how much you could love a little person until now!


Here is Addisyn's birth story~
I went to my Bible study that morning and around 10:00a.m. I was feeling some wierd cramp like feelings~ about every 10 minutes. I decided to head to school anyways, thinking that I would be distracted! So at school I began to keep track a little more closely and after lunch time when the kids came in, the contractions where every 6-8 minutes apart, but pretty consistent. I did read aloud with my kids and then began teaching Bible. In the middle of my lesson I was beginning to really have some pain, so I went to the bathroom a few times. They kept getting worse and worse, so I called the Dr.'s office and they said I should maybe come in and get checked out there. I found a teacher to come in and sub for me and left school in quite a lot of pain! The Dr. checked me and I was dilated to a 4 and progressing quite fast, so he said he would meet me at the hospital after I went home and got my things and my husband! I drove home and the contractions where really bad~ every 3-4 minutes apart! Jeff finally got home after I labored alone for a while on my ball. We drove to the hospital and they were really hard ones and every 1 1/2 minutes apart. We got there around 4:30. They wheeled me up to our room, and got my antibiotics in right away, and by this time, I was in so much pain, I told them to go ahead and get the epidural ready!! Around 6:30 I had my epidural in and was feeling much much better! We just hung out in the room and they continued to check me. They broke my water around 7:00 and that made me dilate a few more cm. At 9:00 they came in and I was about an 8!! By 10:15 the nurse came in and said that I was dilated to a 10 and that we would begin pushing. They got everything ready and in the room~ a mirror so I could watch!! Jeff was on "facebook" the whole time with Becca, so they knew what was going on and Mom and Dad Verwys actually came up to the hospital and waited in the waiting room! I began pushing around 10:35 and Addisyn came out at 10:50! She was beautiful and perfect! They laid her right on me as soon as she came out and she was a wiggler and a bright eyed little girl! She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21.5 inches long! What a miracle and a blessing she is!! It was nothing that I could have even imagined or dreamed it would be~ but it was such an amazing experience! I can't wait to do it again!! (not for a long long time though!!)
