Well, I can warn you right now~ my post on Spring Break is not like everyone else in the entire world right now who "went away to warm, sunny Florida!"!!!!!!!!! I am a bit bitter if you can't tell! I really struggled this week to not be disappointed that my toes weren't walking on the white sand, or that my skin wasn't getting sunburned, or we weren't splashing in the ocean or pool! I just had to dream! We had 3 really nice days here I guess, so I should be thankful! HAH!! From Monday on, it was either rainy, gloomy or cold (even snow!) Not so cool to have Addy going from playing outside in her bathing suit~ to bundling up in her winter coat again to play outside! Michigan stinks sometimes!
Our time started off on Thursday night, playing outside on the driveway~ Addisyn climbed up on her umbrella stroller and tipped over head first onto the cement!! She screamed, and her head was soooo hurt! A big goose egg and an "almost like carpet burn on the cement" scrape! I felt so bad for my peanut~ but the mommy in me was so sad because I was totally planning on getting her 18 month pictures taken this week!!! Not anymore with her big owie and bump on her forehead!

We did get our van on Friday afternoon which was totally fun! We took it out to the beach Friday night with the Schippers for supper and to play in the sand! Addy loves her new van and so does mommy!
Saturday Daddy and Ross put together my new office downstairs! That was really fun to see come together! It looks so nice all done! (I also woke up with my nasty cold again!! Arhhhh!)

Easter Sunday we went to mom and dad VerWys' house with the fam! It was really nice, and after we visited there, we went to the Brinks to say hi too!
Monday~ we had a "girls" shopping day down in Michigan City! We left in the morning and returned around dinner time because my niece Stephanie wasn't feeling well. Addisyn did unbelievably good with out a morning or afternoon nap! She loved running around in the open outlet areas with Grandma or riding in the stroller! I was so proud of her! Steph got sick after lunch and threw up a few times! :( Then on the drive home, she threw up again! Poor girl! We got within 10 minutes of home and that is when Addy lost it! What a day! I did get a lot of fun clothes for Addisyn though!!!
Tuesday I made Strawberry jam with my mom! We were able to make a ton for my freezer! I love homemade jam!! 10lbs of strawberries and 35 jars/containers later!

Wednesday I went to Babies R Us for something fun with my friend Amanda and Tanner, and then Thursday and Friday I was feeling so cruddy, we just hung around home and I slept when Addy slept! REAL FUN VACATION HUH! I have such a bad cough that keeps me up at night, so I never feel really rested, so I guess I needed those kind of days too!
Saturday I did some Wall Word stuff, cleaned out my car to try and sell, graded some school stuff and did more on the baby room. Sad to think that Spring Break is over~ but I guess that is how life goes! I will try to be happy for everyone else as they share their "warm/sunny" vacation stories with me! I did thoroughly enjoy being at home with my tootie! She was so much fun to be around 24/7! It will be an adjustment to have to leave her everyday again! Pretty crazy to think only 2 more months of school, 1 month of summer and then #2 is here!!!!!
