What we've been up to lately!

My life has been pretty crazy lately! Especially at school! I just finished directing our 8th grade play at school which started already back in December! We had 2 performances/shows which were this past Thursday and Friday night! I co-directed it with another teacher and the cast was a very large cast! The play was "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood" and it was one of the funniest plays I have ever seen! The kids really pulled it off when it all came down to it~ but those few months of practice almost everyday after school were a bit overwhelming! I am glad I did it, but may think very seriously before signing on the dotted line to do it again!!

Life at home suffered a bit with mommy/wife being so stressed and consumed with the play~ but after this short week of school we will have a really nice week off for Spring Break!!! We are just staying around here and not going anywhere which I am very bummed about, but Jeff promises to work on the office and baby room which I am TOTALLY pumped about! I got the baby bedding in the mail, and we got the flooring, bead board and paint ready to go too!

What I hope to make the room look like~ at least this shows her bedding!

Addisyn has been a ball to be around! I don't know if this is how all 18 month kids are or not, but she is just a blast! She is a ball of energy, so funny and entertaining, and such a lover!! She loves being outside, running around with Cooper and pushing her car or stroller around with her baby! She loves on her baby and will be a great little mommy when baby sister comes!! I am trying to relish every moment as I am regularly reminded that my life will be changing sooner than I know it!

This pregnancy is unreal~ I feel like it is flying by and I don't have time to even think about it! I am 26 weeks and baby H is growing like crazy (or my belly is!) She moves around like she is on caffeine 24/7! I don't take pictures or journal like I did with Addy which I feel really bad about! Jeff and I both sit back many times just marveling at what our lives will be is a few short months!

My baby girl is 18 months!

I can not believe that Addisyn is 18 months today! She is such a hoot! She totally is so much fun, yet is starting to throw in some defiance too! I am learning how to be consistent even when I am sick of saying no for the hundredth time! Here is a simple list of things that Addy is or does right now so I don't ever forget!

*She loves to pucker her lips and give you kisses~ THE BEST THING EVER!!!

*She loves to see Daddy walk in the door~ her whole face/demeanor lights up like crazy!

*She would love to walk around naked or at least in her diaper rather than be clothed!

*She wants to sit on the potty as soon as she sees someone else go

*She truly understands almost everything you say to her (good and/or bad)

*She pretends to be talking on the phone with our phones right up to her ear and jabs away!

*She is able to entertain herself with toys for at least 10 minutes, but would rather be around the action! (She loves sitting in the chair in her room reading to herself)

*She LOVES being outdoors~ playing with her big car, running around with Cooper, or just going up and down the driveway

*She talks like crazy~ but it is her own jibberish, no major words yet (awebooshabee)

*She shakes her head "no" when told it is time to go to bed!!

*She EATS so much fruit~ I can't keep enough in the house!

*She loves on her babies and carries the one I grew up with around with her!

*She loves to dance, sing and shake her bootie!

*She makes the most hilarious faces~ she moves her eyebrows all over the place and makes a funny O with her mouth when she is shocked!

*She loves to sit on Cooper and try to ride him like a horse

*She LOVES her bath time and brushing her teeth (she goes in the bathroom all the time to find her toothbrush and tooth paste)

*She still tries to eat Cooper's dog food~ but will spit it out as soon as she is found out!

*She likes to back her buns up into your lap to be read to

*She loves cuddling and being lovey while watching tv in the mornings (Super Why, Mickey Mouse, and Handy Manny)

Addisyn is such a gift from God to us, and like every other parent that says this "I could not imagine life with out her in it!" What did we do 18 months ago~ I do know that our lives are much more crazy, chaotic and soooooooooo much better!

Getting up to Date!!

So, I just figured out~ thanks to the help of other smart Bloggers~ that you can make a book out of your blog and thus not have to do such elaborate CREATIVE MEMORIES!!!! (which I have not even started yet for Addisyn!) What a bad mommy! I had such high intentions even before she was born~ I even created "already set pages" to put her pictures into, but have not even done that yet!!!! Horrible! I just look at the THOUSANDS~not joking! of pictures that I have of her and sort of just give up! BUT now that I have created 2 books from my blog, I am going to try and be much more diligent and faithful at keeping my blog up to date! That will save me so many headaches later on hopefully!!

So, here is the end of our FEBRUARY~into MARCH!!!!
Things that are going on~
*I am directing the 8th grade play~ The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, which takes up my time every day after school!!

*We had our Ultra Sound on Feb. 18~ and found out...;)

*It has been SO beautiful lately that we have been out side as much as possible

* Addy has just been such a blast to be around! She is soooooo fun, yet beginning her little naughty stage too!!
