On Saturday morning we had a special time where we were able to have Addisyn baptized by Uncle Ryan and Grandpa VerWys. I really wanted to have an intimate baptism time for Addisyn~ being that our church is a little large we did it at the Huizenga's house. We wanted to have the closest people in our lives surround us as we promised to raise Addy up to know and love Jesus as her own! It was such an awesome morning! We had a nice brunch and then Ryan did a special opening and my dad did the actual baptizing! (with Jordan River water from Israel!) Then as a very special song was playing~ we walked around with her and everyone had a chance to give her a prayer or a blessing! Emotional, yet so memorable! We pray for little Addisyn's heart, and for us as parents as we have an awesome responsibility to fulfill!

That is very cool that you did a small private baptism with Addisyn. I've often wondered how people handle that at bigger churches. Sounds like it was very special. Andrew was baptized on December 14. He was actually healthy that day and it was quite special too to have all of our family there. :)
