A trip to the ER?!

Yup! We had a trip to the ER tonight and had one of those "scary parent" moments that no parent wants to have~ yet we all have had!! We were at "Chuck E. Cheese" with the VerWys family for Cortney's 5th birthday. It was SUCH a fun time! Addi just LOVED it! She was too fun to watch as she oohed and ahhed over Chuck E. and all the rides! She danced for the first 10 minutes on the little dance floor by the mechanical Chuck E. Cheese and made everyone laugh as she "shook her bootie" and did some crazy moves I never knew she had!! :) Then we played a while, had pizza, and while we were eating a yummy birthday cake together and Cortney opened her gifts~ we put Brinsley up on the table by us and she was just sitting there, playing with toys etc. Well, she went to grab something by Jeff and fell right off the table onto the floor, doing a flip or something onto the hard floor. She landed and cried, and I grabbed her right away to console her, but then when I handed her to "Nurse Auntie Becca" she got really lethargic and sleepy!? She was scaring us all, so we wanted to be safe and Jeff and I took her to Holland Hospital. On the way there she fell asleep and I could not get her to wake up or respond to open her eyes~ which definitely freaked me out! We got right in and all the nurses were so nice and kind! When we got her out of her seat then she started to wake up and was acting like herself and was being so sweet! The doctor looked her and checked her over and we were able to make the decision to go home without a head CT and we just have to wake her up a few times in the night~ so that is what we will do, with lots and lots of prayers! Scary thing, but so much easier when we have someone we can lean on and go to with our worries and concerns! Boo is so special and we love her more than words can describe! Thank you God for both our beautiful babies sleeping soundly under our roof!!
